HI,
As you can see from joined photo, those lil Info popup
windows will stays in the way....as long as I don t get
back (focus) to the main GAIM window... very enoying...

This is a known issue that is caused by a bug in the GTK
(the bug has been reported already).
I beleive that is the GTK bug that is causing it:
