[Hardware] Isolator for CANHello CAN-Specialists,
I use a Silicon Labs C8051F502 CAN Controller and need urgently an isolator. I like something like the iCoupler from Analog Devices, but goten only the I²C and USB ones to work. Can someone recommend a manufacturer or type I can use? Re: [Hardware] Isolator for CANHi Steve,
In the application report slla298 (Isolated CAN Reference Design) they are recommending the TVS PSM712 from ProTek Devices... but this part is horribel expensive. Du you know a pincompatibel less expensive one? I am realy not willing to pay 122,40 US$ for 50pcs (2,45 US$/pcs) Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening Michelle Konzack Electronic Engineer Tamay Dogan Network Debian GNU/Linux Consultant -- Linux-User #280138 with the Linux Counter, http://counter.li.org/ ##################### Debian GNU/Linux Consultant ##################### <http://www.tamay-dogan.net/> Michelle Konzack <http://www.can4linux.org/> Apt. 917 <http://www.flexray4linux.org/> 50, rue de Soultz Jabber linux4michelle@... 67100 Strabourg/France IRC #Debian (irc.icq.com) Tel. RE: Re: [Hardware] Isolator for CANHi Michelle,
Wow, I had no idea. Try TDK's AVR-M1608C270KT2AB. The TDK products are the really small footprint but they work well and usually very affordable.
