I have a number of fairly large projects in eclipse (1000+ files), and generally
I keep them closed except for the one I'm working on.   These
are SVN based projects.

I have noticed that when in the Eclipse Package Explorer, if I right-click on a
project in order to bring up the context menu (usually to open it), Eclipse will
LOCK UP and be unresponsive for many seconds, bordering on minutes.

If I UNinstall Subclipse from Eclipse, this problem goes away.

I'm using the latest Eclipse and latest Subclipse.  Older version of Subclipse
did not do this.

I conjecturing that subclipse is triggering a refresh of the program when the
right-click context menu is being generated.

It seems Subclipse should not be doing a full program refresh if the program is
closed - maybe delay this until the program is actually opened?
