Senior Flex UI Developer, NYC | 100-130k - Relo Ok
This is a full time, on-site, salaried position located in New York City
paying $100,000 to $130,000 + benefits. No telecommuting allowed. US
Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD or CAN only please. Local candidates
preferred; however, candidates interested in relocating considered as well -
relocation expenses provided.
The Senior Flex UI Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining
systems to support consumer-facing Web properties, new technology
initiatives, and internal business applications. This position will focus
heavily on emerging technology projects and OOUI (object-oriented user
interface) development.
Required Experience:
* CS degree or similar strongly preferred
* Strong OO design and development with relationship to UI (User Interface)
development
* Leading and participating in the analysis, design and development of
client/server business applications
* Client/server, database, systems integration and reporting
* 4 years Object-Oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Objective-C,
Flex, Flex Builder 3, and ActionScript 3)
* 2 years Flash CS3 / Flex
* In depth PureMVC experience
* Experience with refactoring a Flex/Flash application that has already been
built vs. building one
* 2 years Client-side web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX)
* 2 years SQL (Oracle, MySQL)
* 2 years Entity Relationship Modeling
Additional skills:
* Willingness to work with server-side development platforms such as J2EE,
Spring, and Hibernate
* Experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus
