[Portfolio] Portfolio Creation Wizard LagHi all -
It was recently brought to my attention as I watched a woman create a portfolio - that there is approx 5-6 minute delay when going from Step 1 to Step 2 during the portfolio creation. The matrix in question is simply 1 row with 10 cells, nothing complex at all.
I tried searching the JIRA for a fix, but nothing jumped out at me (could have missed it).
This is on Sakai 2.5.x / Linux using Oracle on the back.

Re: [Portfolio] Portfolio Creation Wizard LagThis definitely sounds like SAK-14165 -- it was painful for our users
as well. You should be able to back-port this to 2.5.x or 2.6.x (note that a 2.6.x fix requires a kernel change). We're running the fix in production in UM. - Beth On Sep 28, 2009, at 4:00 PM, Sean Keesler wrote: > Assuming you are not using an outine options form....so step two is > the pick list of content. > I wonder if it is related to SAK-14165... > > > Sean Keesler > 130 Academy Street > Manlius, New York 13104 USA > 315-663-7756 > sean.keesler@... > > > > On Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 3:31 PM, Jon Wheat <jwheat@...> wrote: >> Hi all - >> It was recently brought to my attention as I watched a woman create a >> portfolio - that there is approx 5-6 minute delay when going from >> Step 1 to >> Step 2 during the portfolio creation. Re: [Portfolio] Portfolio Creation Wizard LagThanks Sean, I'll give that a try.
Step 2 is a pick list of content.
I think I read that one, but got lost in some of the comments below, unsure if it was what I was looking for.
