[REQUEST] Incubation for HIVE

Hi,

The ODE PMC has accepted (see vote [1]) the incubation proposal for HIVE
[2]. The mentors are Paul, Glen and yours truly.

After the 72 hours wait period ending May 5th I'll go ahead and create the
podling, providing no prior opposition.

Thanks,
Matthieu

PLEASE, a different name to avoid confusion.

Apache HiveMind
Apache BeeHive

One would assume that "Hive" is a combination of those...

Cheers

Not to mention http://hadoop.apache.org/hive/

But I think it's HISE, not HIVE. Fear not :)

It is a typo. They mean "HISE" (see [2]). I altered the email Subject.

Another typo ... gather that you mean November 5 2009.

Here is an "Ack" as suggested here:

Ooops yeah, the "hive" naming is my bad. It's HISE.

I did the first step for you ... added HISE to the
ReportingSchedule with December, January, February being
your first three reporting months. Report in November if
you want to.

This gets your project into Clutch, which helps to manage
the incubation process.
