Since you obviously can't really control when its running you have to kill it manually everything, which can be very annoying. And you can configure it to only scan your working copies and not other paths. Once you've done that, it really shouldn't drain your batteries anymore. I've myself never had a problem with it. And you don't have to kill the cache - simply switching to "shell" in the settings dialog is enough. Thing is I've crawled through the documentation and tried to find a specific setting dialog for TSVNCache but wasn't able to find it (I'm using the registry tweak which displays a system tray but no settings dialog is available there). Am I missing something or is it only available in development versions? I'm using TSVN 1.6.6, on Windows Vista SP2.
