[REQUEST] Option to disable TSVNCache when running on battery

TSVNCache can decrease your battery time enormously. Since you
obviously can't really control when its running you have to kill it
manually everything, which can be very annoying.
Thanks!

This may be possible by setting up TSVNCache.exe to run as a scheduled task, which would then be configured to run only when connected to external power and stopped whenever battery power is detected.

Cheers,

The cache only runs if there's HD activity. And you can configure it to
only scan your working copies and not other paths.
Once you've done that, it really shouldn't drain your batteries anymore.
I've myself never had a problem with it.

And you don't have to kill the cache - simply switching to "shell" in
the settings dialog is enough.

That wouldn't work at all. Seriously!

Yes, something like that would work. :-)

Thing is I've crawled through the documentation and tried to find a specific setting dialog for TSVNCache but wasn't able to find it (I'm using the registry tweak which displays a system tray but no settings dialog is available there). Am I missing something or is it only available in development versions? I'm using TSVN 1.6.6, on Windows Vista SP2.

Thanks,
 Helder
