So you have registered for and used the secret key? If you can give me the
exact search that gives you the error, along with which amazon site you're
using, I can try it out.

Thanks , I registered and use the secret key.
My research was about the famous french  satirical newspaper
"Le canard enchainé" ? so I used "canard" as a keyword and I choosed
amazon France in the settings and for the research.

Hmmm, I'm having trouble reproducing that. It seems to work for me.

I'm not sure what might cause it. What locale do you use? fr utf8?
