In no way would I want to discourage patches (contributions are always
welcome!) but you should know that I've already added equivalent
functionality to the trunk. :-) The SVN path can be specified when
configuring a repository (since the link will almost certainly be
different for each repository) and a variable is available to all
template pages by using the [websvn:clientrooturl] placeholder. When
combined with [websvn:path] or its equivalent, the entire path can be
constructed for any item on a page. In fact, although this
functionality isn't yet configured on
http://trunk.websvn.info, you
can see it in action at
http://dysart.cs.byu.edu/websvn/ — notice the
SVN link column in the tables, and the button in the nav bar. If any
functionality is lacking for this feature, please let me know, and I
can try to get it into the 2.3.0 release, which we're getting ready to
release soon.
