[Xbox-linux-user] nvxbox - Upgrade to lennyHi all,
Hope you can read this in between the penis enlargement and viagra ads. I've upgraded my xbox from debian etch (2.6.16.57 kernel) to lenny, but I discovered that Xorg broke. During the upgrade, I note a switch from Xorg 7.1.1 to 7.3. I recompiled the nvxbox drivers after getting and installing the dev package. While I now have a beatuious 800x600 gui screen, I have no joy for videos, as the CPU registers 50% while at idle. I also noted a warning during the compile of nvxbox. I will transfer over all the kernel sources and recompile (not sure if that is necessary, but I recall reading somewhere that it might be). Has anyone else ever done this and succeeded? If you have any questions or need any outputs to help me, please ask and I will gladly post.
