Both of these were saved from PRICE as tiff files.

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #27620 (project gnustep):

tests were done, I saved images using PRICE on an up-to-date environment
(FreeBSD; x86).
i could read the resulting images without flaws on a G3 Mac (using Previez)
and on a x86-32 Windows XP machine (using standard i,age viewer)

However exactly the same was reported not to work correctly on 64Bit windows
and Macs.

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #27620 (project gnustep):

Greg, you attached only one image. I can open that image fine on windows
32bit using Paint .NET. (AS expected).
The problem seems to be that files generated on GNUstep do not open correctly
on certain 64bit platforms (if they do not use libtiff, as gimp or firefox
do).

Follow-up Comment #3:

I was able to open this image on my Mac with the QuickTime application. This
looks like it is rather a limitation of other Mac applications not of libtiff
that produced this image.

How was the image generated? Perhaps we need to provide a few more parameters
to libtiff to get all Mac applications to accept this format.
