Summary: S230 / Ixus v3 Corrupted Data
Initial Comment:
Gphoto fails to capture an image from a usb-connected Ixus v3 (S230) with error -102 Corrupted data.
gphoto --summary works fine, and PSRemote (windows) and ImageCapture for OSX can both capture from the camera fine.
Camera is in normal (non-PTP) mode, on a freshly installed Debian (Lenny) system.
gphoto2 and libgphoto2 2.4.7 downloaded from sourceforge as tgz and compiled/installed fine.
logfile output is attached.
gphoto2 2.4.7 gcc, popt(m), no exif, no cdk, no aa, no jpeg, no readline
libgphoto2 2.4.7 gcc, ltdl, no EXIF
libgphoto2_port 0.8.0 gcc, ltdl, USB, serial without locking
