Alberto's method worked very nicely. Although I dont like having the
user/pass written like that unencrypted its the only solution I have
found so far.
Using the Network Manager was the first thing i tried but unfortunately
there seems to be a bug there and you cannot save your password.
Something to do with Ubuntu's Keychain system not liking openvpn. After
alot of searching I managed to get it to work only when I leave the
password empty and enter it manually. And as soon as I am being asked if
the pass should be saved, to deny it.
I also couldn't get Endians Nameserver to be pushed through, it worked
with a windows client without a problem. My solution was to add the
endian as a dns server in the clients config.
