----------------------------------------
I'm also seeing this issue several times an hour
A build process or debugging process will sometimes hang, and cannot be terminated.
All subsequent processes will then go into this state also.
Closing Netbeans is the only way I have found to stop the processes.
Using Maven plugin 3.1.4
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.1 (Build 200805300101)
Java: 1.6.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b23
System: Windows Vista version 6.0 running on x86; Cp1252; en_GB (nb)

> I frequently end up with multiple runaway maven tasks that have either stalled or not exited cleanly.
> Using runtime-processes-stop does not seem to actualy kill them, often requiring that I restart NetBeans to finaly get rid of them.
> Interestingly stalled tasks seem to startup again and complete after I exit NetBeans.
