Just wanted to add some additional info.
I installed Mevenide plugin from eclipse thru' 'Help' ==> Software Updates ==> Find and Install ==> Search for New features to install ==> New Remote Site == >
Name ==> Maven
URL ==>
http://mevenide.codehaus.org/release/eclipse/update/site.xmlNote: The Maven version I am using - 1.0.2
Also, to install Maven SCM Plug-in,
From the command prompt, I ran - maven plugin:download
For artifact id - maven-scm-plugin
group Id - maven
version - 1.5
Please let me know, if you need any additional information to troubleshoot this issue
