It appears that our firewall was setup incorrectly for accepting ssh requests from repo1.maven.org. This has now been corrected can you retry the test/sync?

right now the ip of the server is 38.97.124.18 but I cant guarantee it's going to be like that always

Thanks for trying again - we are currently looking into why it's not working. Is it possible for you to use an SVN repository instead of  rsync/ssh? I note that some artefacts use this as an option for syncing.
