When working with multiple artifact projects, when a change is applied to a jar, netbeans is unable to autocomplete the changed class (new methods, changed signatures, etc) in the dependent artifacts. In order to see the new snapshot I must restart netbeans.

I think I've got this working on my maven builds all the time.. There are/were some problems with reparsing in the java support space. Like that after build the error badges didn't disappear. This issue could be related to that. Can you try in the netbeans 6.5 dev build? (or upcoming 6.5 beta - a few weeks time)?
