I'm having problems to deploy to my FTP server which is providing a maven2 repository. I'm using the opensource Filezilla FTP Server (sourceforge). When I connect using the Filezilla FTP Client i have to turn of "Passive Mode" otherwhise the ftp connection doesn't work. Actually the authentication works fine but while listing the directories the connection switches into passive mode and disconnects.

Is there a way to configure the maven ftp wagon to not use passive mode? Current FTP Extension used:

      <extension>
       <groupId>org.apache.maven.wagon</groupId>
       <artifactId>wagon-ftp</artifactId>
       <version>1.0-beta-2</version>
      </extension>
