Hello!

I have the latest wisp-dist from hazard.maks.net.  Using a cisco aironet in
a pcmcia to pci adapter (Elan). It seems to run fine, but the dmesg (and the
console if you are in directly) fills up with:

airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!
airo:  can't find FID!

and on and on....

Is it gonna clog up and stop? or will it continue on fine... ?
Anybody?

Thanks,

Jerryf

I don't think I ever saw this error before... I don't think that it will
get stuck completely. Check if you have packet loss.

Vladimir, what is the command line shell that wisp-dist uses? Bash, ksh, zsh?

[leaf-wisp] sshd with wrappers

by Ray Gwinn :: Rate this Message:

Vladimir, is there a possibility that you will compile the wisp-dist sshd so the wrappers
(host.allow|deny) can be used?

From within the sshd source directory:

./configure --with-tcp-wrappers
make

should do the trick.  I cannot do the compile myself because I do not have the right combinations
of openssl and libraries.

Hi Ray,

Why don't you use iptables?

iptables is something I have not learned, and at this point, over my head.  A simple
recompile of sshd will allow both iptables and host.allow|deny to work, and would be a
BIG help to me.
