Apologies if this message already came through to the list. I sent it
via Nabble this past Friday and received a number of messages over the
weekend that it hadn't been accepted. I get the 4DBiz digest and haven't
seen my message come through.

To elaborate on this, by _legal_ I mean a license that will easily
activate. I don't want to spend hours on the phone with MS. I did some
research on this over the weekend and am confused/concerned about what
is needed/involved to get this working. I haven't bought an Intel Mac
yet, but plan to in the near future.

Can you use an un-installed OEM license? Or a license for resellers
(computer builders)? Otherwise I'm looking for good sources for an XP
Pro license with installation media.

I've seen a few VMWare/XP bundle offers, but am unclear as to whether
that license could also be installed into BootCamp, or if that XP could
be used in Parallels?

Sorry for the off-topic post.

Thanks,

Brad Perkins

Brad; VM has a utility that will create a VM image file from an existing XP
installation. I used that to migrate from a desktop Windows box to VM
Fusion.

E.g., if you have an existing Windows box that you don't need anymore, you
can move it, to a Mac.
