Hello everyone,

what might be the reason for the start of eclipse lasting more than 10 minutes
when using a python-workspace?
I am using the latest versions of pydev and pydev extensions with eclipse 3.5.
In the startup-dialog I see eclipse starting pydev and then it hangs for
minutes.
If I load a java-workspace, eclipse starts within a few seconds.

Any hints appreciated

Greetings

Jochen Gern

Not really sure... it starts up fast for me (and I work with around 3.000 files
in my pydev workspace -- what usually takes more time for me is subversive,
as it calculates the hashes of the files to know if they were changed).

Can you create a bug-report for that giving more details on your setup? (including
other plugins you're using)

Cheers,

Fabio

Hello,
I am sorry for answering late but I had a period of holidays
and short-time-work.
I created the bug report you wanted me to.

Greetings

Jochen
