Hi,
1. There has been no work on the pydev side, but just to note, I've gotten e4
and tested pydev in it and it seems it does work (although it's not officially
supported).
2. There are no plans to add official support (although, if you do use it with
pydev and you have some bug, you can enter a bug report for it -- if it's fixable
while retaining compatibility to eclipse 3.5 it'll probably be fixed).
