[rvm-core] Google SoC 2009 - administrator needed!

Hi,

last year at the beginning of March mentoring organizations could apply to Google. I set up some pages to start this for this year's GSoC [1]. I feel this year it would be better if someone took over the administration and so won't be putting myself forward to administer or submit Jikes RVM to the GSoC as a mentoring organization. If someone else is interested in doing this job then I'm sure the steering committee will be glad to hear of your interest.

Regards,
Ian

Thanks Ian for running this the last two years and getting it started for 2009!

If no one else steps up, someone from the steering committee will do it.  But we're hoping that someone from the broader community will grab the opportunity to do this.  It's an important task with bounded duration, so if there's someone out there who has been  looking for an opportunity to pitch in and help with some concrete task, this might be a good chance.
