Hi,
there's progress in the trunk on running x86 64 programs with 64bit
address spaces. The host.name x86_64_m64-linux will build a prototype
image that will run with a 64bit address space. The image will fail in
VM.boot when we get the first JNI call. If anyone would like to lend a
hand porting the JNI compiler then let me know - I plan to do a
temporary kludge where we stack the arguments to the C routine (as with
the 32bit calling conventions) and then unstack them into registers as
needed.
