Hi,

according to:

http://blogs.zdnet.com/Burnette/?p=1043

"The CPL will no longer be considered an active open source license, but there’s an easy migration path for CPL code to transition to EPL."

will the license of Jikes RVM also change?

Thanks,
Ian

The steering committee will have to discuss, but since the EPL 1.0 has been officially designated as the "new version" of CPL 1.0 we have the ability to change Jikes RVM to EPL without having to do any annoying legal work.  Therefore, I would expect that changing to the EPL would be in the project's best interests (costs nothing, changes nothing, makes it easier to share code with other EPL projects).
