November 6th 2009 for registration form of Zirrux 130, section
technical description

Zirrux 130 will be an (GPL 3+) fast implementation of the Tiger
(http://www.cs.technion.ac.il/~biham/Reports/Tiger/) cryptographic
hash function. It objetive is to be as fast as possible so we will use
Assambler (NASM) for critical parts and C for the rest. We wil support
all platforms with an C99 compiler but assambler optimization will be
only available to x86 and AMD64 CPUs.

There is no tarball yet but i know and will follow the savannah
policity.

Kevin Mas Ruiz is in this project too:

(http://www.cs.technion.ac.il/~biham/Reports/Tiger/tiger-src.tar.gz): "Tiger
has no usage restrictions nor patents. It can be used freely, with the
reference implementation, with other implementations or with a modification to
the reference implementation (as long as it still implements Tiger). We only
ask you to let us know about your implementation and to cite the origin of
Tiger and of the reference implementation."

Here is the first tarball of Zirrux 130. The program test_generic
calculates and print step by step the hash of the empty string. Note
than the tarball is signed, all my tarballs will be signed. See my
warring for non signed messsages:
https://savannah.gnu.org/people/resume.php?user_id=69035.

Kevin will no be an active contributor to this project by an
indeterminated time.

The program will also need SBCL (In future versions any ANSI
implementation). Part of SBCL is in the public domain and part under a
BSD licence.

Follow-up Comment #2:

Hi Mario,

I approve your project.

If you disclaim copyright for a file (test_generic.c), I recommend to say
that it is released to the public domain explicitly.

Thanks Sebastian, the test_generic.c will be deleted in the next
version. It was an little program to help in the debug of the
compression function. In the next version README file will be GPL and
GNU PG signed, it was GNU verbatim copy licence (Translated to
spanish) but i do not like to prevent people to modify this, only to
force than if they modify the file also they must delete all
references to Zirrux 130. Anyway, a digital signature is safer.
