okay.  sounds good.  i find it hard to imagine many people missing 1.3 if 1.4 was available with generics on java 5.

I think Johan and other devs are happy with the results so far :-)
What Johan (and others) want to avoid is to have to maintain multiple
branches at the same time, which would be the case if we would go on
with 1.4 without putting 1.3 to EOL first.
