[webERP -translation] The main TCPDF examplesI have made a web page to have a reference. By now, it has two examples, the main cases. Previous examples are broken or undone, please forgot them; if needed, they will be revitalized here. Here is the link:
http://146.red-88-2-131.staticip.rima-tde.net/examples.htm Please tell me about any issue and any else you want like another example to show. My intention is to include odt, more Cmaps and more fonts. Re: [webERP -translation] The main TCPDF examplesIssues: In html on my Windows Firefox looks all fine. The first chinese line Zi suo bu yu wu shi yu ren looks fine in pdf. Next line is garbled in pdf. chuan zhen (to spread true - fax) - I only see zhen. gun bi (transport expenses - freight) - I only see gun. zong ji (overall count - total) - I cannot see anything. Seems your CID table has a dropout here. Other glyphs seem to be ok. Some baltic characters yet: Estonian Aa, Bb, Dd, Ee, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Rr, Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv, Õõ, Ää, Öö, Üü For loan words Ff, Šš, Zz, Žž and Cc, for foreign words Qq, Ww, Xx and Yy is used. Ten dar nėra įprastų č, š, ž, ą, ę, ė, į, ų, ū Texts from wikipedia, you find the best overview at evertype.com, but I am sure we will never need all this for webERP. Harald |

Re: [webERP -translation] The main TCPDF examplesThanks a lot Harald,

These are the 4 ideographs from Unicode Unified Ideograph > Seems your CID table has a dropout here. The Adobe *Japanese* Cmap missed Unified Ideograph. (Unicode Ranges are at the page ending.) Something must be missed as conversion is lossy. This is the main Zhiguo Yuan problem for Turkish+Chinese. Using Chinese Cmap solves it but it lacks Turkish. I am working on Examples 3 and on for the others TCPDF Cmaps. The solution is to improve TCPDF with a 5th Cmap for Chinese+Unified Ideograph+Turkish, etc. > Other glyphs seem to be ok. I was thinking on check the actual webERP's translations since it makes no sense to worry about Thai if there is not a webERP translation for it. > Harald There is another problem, Adobe Reader makes a change on Kozuka's name: Windows Acrobat 8: KozMinProVI-Regular Linux Adobe Reader 9: KozMinPr6N-Regular This may bind webERP to use Bitstream Cyberbit and then to install the font on client computers. Thank you very much Harald and congratulations for your knowledge of Chinese. javier > -- > View this message in context: > http://www.nabble.com/-webERP--translation--The-main-TCPDF-examples-tp24970703p24983691.html > Sent from the web-erp-translation mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 > 30-Day > trial. Re: [webERP -translation] The main TCPDF examples> Ups, Hebrew I cannot see at all. Sorry. I have just updated the page, font and pfd. Now the page shows these issues and pdf has Kozuka New from Adobe 9 instead the one from Adobe 8. If you are using the 8 version, now you will see the double substitution and if you are using v9 you saw it before. > Harald Warmest regards and many thanks javier > View this message in context: > http://www.nabble.com/-webERP--translation--The-main-TCPDF-examples-tp24970703p24984459.html > Sent from the web-erp-translation mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 > 30-Day > trial. Re: [webERP -translation] The main TCPDF examplesSome of the common ground between arabic and hebrew is that they are
both right to left languages. Pity there's not more!
