1.2 and portlets - org.mortbay.jetty.* packages missing

Hello all,

While trying to use the portlets plugin I ran into some compilation errors with unresolved references to some org.mortbay.jetty.* classes. Downgrading from 1.2-SNAPSHOT to 1.1.1 fixed these errors.

I'd really like to use 1.2, so I'm wondering if something was moved out of 1.2 that his plugin depends upon, and that might be installed again?

Regards,
Michael Berg

I imagine if you uninstall-plugin tomcat and install-plugin jetty you
can use the portlets plugin

Cheers

Hi Michael,

probably a good idea to raise a JIRA at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GRAILSPLUGINS (use the grails-portlets component). There should be a way to remove those dependencies now that jetty isn't the only development container.

cheers
