1982 XV 920 Virago

My XV 920 is blowing the fuse to the instrument panel (electronic monitor) and brake and signal lights . Even when I add a slow blow it still blows just takes a little longer  any suggestions ?????

You have a ground on that wire somewhere between the fuse(s) and the Cycom/lights. More than likely it is a wire with the insulation worn off where the wiring harness goes past the tripple tree and rubs against the frame. The best way to find it is to start tracing the wire in question from the circuit side of the fuse that is blowing and follow it until you find the shorted wire.
