2.6 plansHi!
I am currently very short in time but just a question what we want to have in trunk before feature freeze (remember we are already in string announcement period). IMHO, we should include the git plugin, anything else from Summer of Code needs a bit more time (bzr, glade (though this looks promising)) or can be handeled externally (vim, vala). Re: 2.6 plansHi Johannes,

On my side, I have already committed some improvements on the build plugin. I'm now trying to do bug fixing only. I'm currently still working on the build plugin as it has been written a bit too fast. Re: 2.6 plansBy the end of the week I will have a release put up. I'm just wrapping up a few things.

Re: 2.6 plansHey,
I have a request to make. Can the EditorMultiple changes make it into the release? The current editor_multiple.diff has not shown any problems or changes for about 2 weeks and hasn't caused any errors/warnings with other plugins either, so I feel that it has reached a comfortable state of stability, though I'd really love to have it reviewed. Without this patch, it would be very difficult for me to ship my plugin as a 3rd-party plugin, since users have to apply the patch to trunk and that's definitely going to put off a lot of people. Re: 2.6 plansHi,
I think that my (Vala) plugin isn't ready for 2.6 as it depends on a patched version of libvala. I agree that it can be handled externally (as it is now). You should be able to get a gnome svn module for this since you already made a release. Thanks. What about symbol-db? there's an uncomitted patch attached to bug #358479 (Symbol-db v 1.0 rc3) I've also made some progress on my local code after that patch, squashing some others bugs: I'll diff and post that after the commit of rc3 (usually I like to have well marked commits so that comparisons between each other is easy to do). Despite this libgda 4.x is still not stable. I've posted some bugs regarding the new libgda multithreading support (sqlite 3.6.x too supports it now). I think anyway that symbol-db is ready for a test. I need more beta testers because until now they were only me, Johannes and few others. regards, Massimo ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Anjuta-devel mailing list Anjuta-devel@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/anjuta-devel |
