iBatis 3.0 Beta 3 is not in the default maven repository even though
Beta 2 is in the repository.

Please add Beta 3 to the repository.

Yes, I can upload the Beta to my local repository and then wait for
3.0 to be released in to the default Maven repository, but the
expectation is for all announced version (Beta or Release) to be in
the Maven repository.

This is m bad.

I will try and get to this tonight.  I know clinton just made a few more changes so there might be a beta 4.   I might just wait for that one to go if we are close.

Yeah, let's wait for Beta 4.

But a bigger concern for me is:  "but the expectation is for all announced version (Beta or Release) to be in the Maven repository"

Expectation maybe.  But is it not within the control of the PMC to decide whether we even use Maven or not?  If it were up to me and/or if Nathan wasn't such a nice guy, there wouldn't be any releases in the Maven repo.

Why?  Because I don't use Maven.

Of course any community member could volunteer to be the facilitator of our Maven deployment (as Nathan has), but that's totally dependent upon someone volunteering.

From my view, this is not an Apache requirement.  If not simply for the reason that Maven is technology specific as well... our .NET version isn't in Maven either.

With all of that said I did push 3.0-beta-3 out to the apache maven sync server.  so keep checking and you might actually see it on the maven servers by tomorrow night.  Apache only pushes out once every 24 hours and I think I might have just missed the window.

I can almost promise that the beta-4 maven release will be very quick save I don't get pulled down by a client.
