3.0.2b4 install directory

The v3 documentation talks about /var/cfengine or /var/lib/cfengine, but
the default install prefix is /usr/local.  Should I configure with
something like:

  configure --prefix=/var/cfengine

so I can follow the documentation and have things work?

No - read a little further and you'll see that /var/cfengine is a cache.
