Guys,

This has taken way too long, but I've been sick all week.  I've just posted
3.9.59.  If you recall I recently rewrote configure to avoid buffer overruns;
I later discovered I had made those changes only to a fraction of the
framework.  So, the only real difference between 58 is that the rewrite
is much more complete (still one file to change for 60).

The place most likely to be broken is Windows, let me know if you try
it there!  I have only tried simple installs on Linux and old OS X.

Thanks,
Clint

ATLAS 3.9.59 released 12/21/11, changes from 3.9.57:
   * Fixed FLAGS= to CFLAGS= in all L2 index files
   * Removed a *bunch* of buffer overrun poss in config & archinfo files
     --> still need to adapt emit_buildinfo

tested on cygwin and fails.
3.9.57 builds fine and 3.9.58 has not such issue (still building)
