I've fetched floppy44.fs from my local mirror and wrote it to a floppy.
So far so good. Booting, fdisk-ing and disklabel-ing all went fine on my
amd64. But when I got to network config the install said there are no
network ifs to configure.
Checking the dmesg I noticed this:
"VIA RhineII-2" rev 0x7c at pci0 dev 18 function 0 not configured
I thought I'd give it a try with acpi disabled. Same thing.
I had OpenBSD installed on this machine until the former hdd broke. So I
know the card works fine and the OS alltogether. Other info I wrote down
from the dmesg:
OpenBSD 4.4-beta (RAMDISK) #67: <date>
cpu0: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz
bios0: ASUSTek Computer INC
I'll be happy to provide any further information you might require.
