Hi,
is there a schedule for 4.8 yet? Found one in the wiki but that said "release on 4th of october", well.. Dunno which page you got that information from but the front page of the Wiki links to http://wiki.xfce.org/releng/4.8/schedule which (hopefull) has all the information you're looking for. The new thumbnailer service tumbler should be ready in a few weeks, same goes for exo for which a release is planned as well. A new development release of Thunar will be out shortly after these two components have been released.
