400 KPF

my freind has asked me to look on line for reasons why his RAYBURN 400KPF keeps going trough oil pumps and is the same reason ; the rear seal leaks ; Its serviced and fixed by a proffesional and is set corectly . Is there a design flaw with the pumps or rayburn ...,,, we think its the rayburn as it comes with a drip tray to catch  the oil  the old one didnt have one
