Security 4D v11 SQL Component
The moment you start a web server at
your site, you open a window into your local network that the entire
Internet can peer through. Filtering user access to different parts of
the site is important. Access to the main page and other public pages
of the site is normally made available to everybody; but on the other
hand, all sensitive information should be protected. 4D v11 SQL has a
built in web security system, but it also allows developers to use
their own customized system.
This technical note explains and demonstrates how to create a custom
web security system. A component is included that will help users build
their security realms.
