Session Spotlight
Using 4D Web Services to Publish your Dynamic
Website on Any Platform
When Stanford University needed to update their Registration system and
website, 4D v11 SQL Server and Web Services were the perfect solution.
This practical discussion uses 4D Web Services to handle the challenges
posed by a highly secure and standardized IT environment. Business
Rules, User Access, Dynamic Content, eCommerce, and CMS can all be
managed from 4D and delivered by PHP, .NET, or any other platform with
a web services client.

2. 4D 2004 Users
Take Action to Protect your Business Data
The
4D 2004 product line, released five years ago is now in it’s Sunset
phase. It can no longer be supported on newer operating systems such as
Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Microsoft Windows 7.
We strongly recommend that you upgrade to 4D v11 SQL as soon as
possible. Please remember we cannot guarantee the safety of your data
on newer operating systems.
Prices for 4D 2004 licenses will, as previously announced, increase
on September 15th with upgrade prices to increase shortly
afterwards.
The best way to ensure the safety of your business data is to contact a
4D Representative who can best advise you on your business data options
at
1-800-785-3303.

revisits creating a custom interface for Quick Reports using 4D v11 SQL
commands.
Part II focuses in the implementation and programming of the sample
database. Part I (Knowledge asset #75840) focused on the
