Hi,

Which paragraphs of 508 would deal with MS Office and PDF documents?

Only if, or when, it is posted to the web -- as in "web-based information," which is a bit silly 'cause accessible design is equally a concern during the workflow process. Now, if the actual question is "what makes an accessible Office or Acrobat document," there's no shortage of relevant information online. A co-worker recently sent out these particularly topical references:

not neccesarily "only" if posted to the but also if it is an open
agency or public funded site.

also under ADA if a particular software is mandated then the agent
must provide the product free of charge, and any adaptive equipment
needed.

one very important reason for cross platform open products
