Dear Helios and Calendar People
Helios does not explain why he divides the year into 49 parts.
It is because the cycle of the 1/49s repeats every lunar cycle of 1438
months, which has 5697 49ths.
The number of solar yerms for the 49ths is 525, which indicates a mean
yerm of about 10.85 49ths.
So most of the 525 yerms have eleven 49th in them and a few (39/525)
have nine 49ths in them.
This cycle divides into three. So one third of a 1438-month cycle has
1899 49ths grouped into 175 yerms of which 13 are short.
These 13 short yerms can be arranged into a 175-yerm Helios cycle thus:
007, 021, 034, 048 ,061, 075, 088, 101, 115, 128, 142, 155, 169.
The intervals alternate between 13 and 14 except for two consecutive 13s
in the middle.

Subject: 5697 year luni-solar cycle
There is a 5697 year luni-solar cycle with a
cycle of entirety
= 4312 lunar yerms
= 5697 years
= 25725 mean solar yerms of 49ths
= 70462 months
= 279153 49ths of year
= 281848 quarter months
= 2080785 days = 3*5*7*7*19*149
mean year = 365 & 460 / 1899 days
mean month = 29 & 763 / 1438 days
If we divide the year into 49ths, the year could be made into a 7 x 7
array.
1 / 49th year = 7 & 862 / 1899 days
mean yerm of 49ths = 1 / [ ( 735 / Y ) - 2 ]
= 80 and 31 / 35 days
the idea of 1 / 49ths year is so
116 & 13 / 49 years = 5697 ( 1 / 49ths year ) = 1438 months
