Hi all.

Interesting month for me. I met people in the Community. That was
neat. They all seem to be working on neat projects. I'm glad that they
included me in their discussion of their work. I'm honored to be
involved at all.

I had an unrecoverable crash on my P4-HP/Compaq Presario. I put
something about that in the blog under the title "Oops!"
Basically, I lost all of my recent work due to a combination of events
that conspired to result in needing to re-format without capablity of
backing up first. Ouch. My back-up drive was out of the machine due to
a cable problem, just a few months ago, and I hadn't addressed that
problem yet. I also didn't take any temporary measures, like a
different form of back-up, in the interim.

It's okay, I'm okay. I will just have to re-create that
colorForth/Glypher/Blog/Wiki work that I had been doing recently.
That's about all of the important stuff I've lost. Well, I did lose a
collection of work that may be hard to replace. I no longer have every
colorForth ever found on the web over the last 15 or so years. Unless
it happens to be on my back-up drive. I can only hope. I don't recall.
I pray it is.

Tell me what you think of the couple of banners I created with
colorForth and posted on the wiki Start and The Colors pages. I will
be adding many more links into the Start banner to include all of you
that have important colorForth links. I just whipped those up as
proofs. Seems to work fine. I should be able to share code using those
methods to create those 'banners'. I'll discuss those methods at the
wiki as well.

Having to re-create everything will have a benefit. I can keep better
records of how it all goes, then share those records to the Community
as I gather it all back.

Looking over old e-mails for things that people have sent me, I came
across some of the posts I sent to Albert van der Horst. Albert, all I
can say as an excuse for my behavior then is that I wasn't
consistantly taking my meds. The stuff I take for my emotional/social
behaviors I take that stuff religously now, due to similar situations
that have come to light, only while on the meds consistantly. I'm
sorry. I've also lost the work that I did on reverse-engineering your
excellent FACTORIZOR for colorForth. I suppose punishment is where you
find it. KholourKharma!

I'm still working on the wiki, you'll find little improvements atleast
every week if not everyday. Re-visit often. Post something. Or tell me
to and I wll be only glad to do so. :-)
