I copied your post about the 'Attach Source Tool' intending to try it
out, but the AttachSourceTool.py has got garbled and I don't have the
original e-mail.

Using 3.1.1-1 on 64-bit linux, When I check Plugin status of
AttachSourceTool.py I get

Fail: name 'register' is not defined
