Hello Everyone
I am running a simulation consisting of 3 rectangular plates which are held together by two bolts (modeled as two cylinders without any bolt head). I noticed that while defining interactions, when i select the option "ADJUST ONLY TO REMOVE OVERCLOSURE " the Stresses which i get in the xx and yy direction are very different when i run the simulation without selecting this option. Can any one please tell me why this is happening ?. I am using a friction coefficient of 0.05 while defining the interactions.
When I define the interaction property as frictionless the run bombs out by giving out an error " Too many attempts made for this increment ", is this because of rigid body motion. Please can some one give me your comments/suggestions on this, it would be very helpful. Thank you.
