ADMS Question

Hi, I have an Automated District Mangagement Sytem question for the group.

My district has an open door policy and allows adult leaders from other districts to attend our district's adult leader training courses.  Actually, for some classes, it's more than 50% of the attendees, so it's not a casual occurrence.  Plus, my council is participating in the mandatory training pilot program, so it's likely we'll be training folks from other districts for some time to come.

Ideally I just want to record attendance for all participants; generate a standard Adult Training Completion report for all participants; and at the same time not screw up the unit and district calculations and reports for "trained" status (which are MUCH better than the ScoutNET reports I've seen to date).

I've considered several options so far:

1.  Enter the leader info into ADMS, generate desired reports, then archive records of those not in my district.

2.  Generate a Training Completion Report for participants from my district, then edit the .rtf report and add info for leaders from other districts.

Appreciate any insight or suggestions from other ADMS users.

Probably the best thing to do is to put them into the system, print out
the report, give one report to their districts Training person, and a
copy to the council.

Scoutnet is being worked on - it is something that we can ignore for
training until fixed.

I've often wondered if Scout Net and MS Vista were written by the same person.  Both are an abomination

Make up your reports...save them...and e-mail to the training chairs in other districts.  (And tell ALL the participants to keep their cards handy in a safe place)
