The GCalctool team is proud to announce the release of GCalctool 5.29.1.
This release has a revamped user interface designed to make
calculations easier to perform and more "math-like".
A short summary of some of the improvements:
- Functions are now typed, e.g. s+i+n for sine instead of "k"
- Superscript and subscript numbers to allow better notation, e.g. "₃√5"
- Preferences moved into a dialog
- Error messages now displayed below equation, and improved descriptions
- Window is now shorter to better fix in netbook resolutions
This interface is still under development and all feedback is appreciated.
