Hello,
i have some Problems with assp and mysql. It looks like that assp doesn´t use the existing connections und make new connections instead. When I restart ASSP, it works well. If needed, i can send the hole log-File. Here a part from the log: every worker to reconnect thread 2 table BackDNS! Ralf,
You failed to mention if ASSP and MySQL are on the same server, and the OS of the server(s).. FYI, I've had no problems here...(MySQL cluster and 3 ASSP servers running on ubuntu 9.04 virtual servers) You are aware that ASSP does take up a lot of connections. What problem? >to reconnect ASSP checks all mysql connections from time to time (~ 120 seconds) in every worker - if a connection is gone for any reason - ASSP tries to reconnect to the failed table. For example : the BackDNS table is only used if a bounce mail is detected - so this table is possibly not used for minutes or hours. MySQL will close this connection if it is not used, or is answering too slow.
