I am a enthusiast user of avrdude.
I have a Problem, that I can't program µC ATmega64C1 with avrdude.
 
When is ist intend to make this update to this µC?

I assume you already tried to force with something like
  -p m64 -F
as option? I don't know which device looks the most like
yours, but that is the first thing to try. Compare the specs.

How about crafting the respective entry for avrdude.conf
yourself, and filing it as a patch?  It's not rocket science.

Unlike me, you are in the fortunate situation that you could
even test it immediately.
