About unusable tooltipsHi, I expect that the attached image is self-explanatory. This occurs in my
laptop screen (800 pixels height). I don't want to imagine how it would look in my netbook (~600 pixels height). Perhaps tooltips should include a scrollbar (by demand)? For which KDE component should I open a bug report? Thanks. -- Iñaki Baz Castillo <ibc@...> _______________________________________________ kde-quality mailing list kde-quality@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-quality |

As a tooltip, that's terrible. A tooltip is supposed to be a short description of what a control does; this one seems to be describing the entire window. Can you tell us where that one comes from? _______________________________________________ kde-quality mailing list kde-quality@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-quality |

It's the KDE configuration window in System Settings. -- Iñaki Baz Castillo <ibc@...> _______________________________________________ kde-quality mailing list kde-quality@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-quality |

Perhaps you should post this to the KDE Usability list. -- James Tyrer Kde Sudo User +1 _______________________________________________ kde-quality mailing list kde-quality@... https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-quality |
