Hello;

I am trying to use JSF in my project. In Plugins Installed section I can see  JSF active. In order to use jsf, I right click on my project and I say New, but

from the window I can not see anything that is like JSF, There are Ant Build Script, Java Package, Java Class, but nothing about JSF..

Sorry if there is any confusing. I hope its clear enough and not very weird..

I am using Net Beans 6.1

JBoss  4.2.3

And also in my project I have used Ants and Design Patterns(DAO and Front Controller). I just want to try to use JSF in my project as well..

Thanks

Hey aydeniz,
        There's an "Other..." option on the "New" context menu. Open that and
then choose New JSF page or something like that. The main many
contains the file types you use most, so the next time JSF Page will
probably be there.
        If there are no JSF options on the menu, check Tools -> Plugins and
see if the JSF Plugin is installed.

        Also, I really recommend Netbeans 6.7 if you can install it.

Cheers

Here a good tutorial on how to get started with JSF: http://www.netbeans.org/kb/61/web/jastrologer-intro.html
Thanks.

Hi Gui;

Thanks for the reply.. JSP is installed in the plugins. Although jsf is installed, I can not see it in my project. But as you said if I create a new project

I can see all the libs, including JSF, and everything.  I am working with somebody else's project, trying to do some changes for the new requirements, so it is really not possible to create a project from the beginning. I just wonder why, if I create a new project I can see the JSF lib and If I try to reach it from the project I can not see it on the list?

Thank you indeed..
